The staff were helpful, the room comfortable and unusual, we all liked the chair, and it was in a quiet area.

I have stayed in many (very many) different hotels in Munich, and I've finally found my favorite! I originally booked 2 nights here, but ended up staying 5! Therefore, I saw three different rooms on three different floors, and all were exceptionally designed, clean and comfortable. The extra touches were also great, for example... Leaving a nice bag of fresh towels if you didn't want to be disturbed in the morning. Also, the pillows and sheets are wonderfully comfortable as well. The breakfast does cost money, but is delicious! Lastly, the location is absolutely perfect, right next to Sendlinger Tor, and 10-15 minutes walking to Marienplatz. Next time I'm in Munich, I will surely be back!

This is really design hotel. Normal size rooms. Elevator is small but this is not important.
Front rooms on the main street are noisy. All was OK!
-
Nicely thought out layout and features in the rooms.
-
Everything necessary for an overnight stay was provided
As a non smoker I could smell the traces of a smoker in my room or from outside my room nearby
-
Very comfortable and cosy....room was quite eccentric (loved the cow picture on the shower glass) and the window area with sofa and dock for music...priceless!!
Bigger Towels for the shower and a nice kettle would have been appreciated!

Close to Oktoberfest (Theresienplatz), quiet and clean rooms, nice design. Price/value is probably good excl. Octoberfest weeks. Private parking, though not free Wi-fi was fast. Comfortable bed. Good ligh-locking curtains keeps the room dark if u want to sleep in the morning.
One sliding door to close either the shower or the WC - it is not possible to close both at the same time. Furthermore, you can hear every sound from the toilet.... Very expensive at the time of Octoberfest I had to seriously push staff for an extra bed - I got it finally, but only when I wanted to cancel my reservation
-
Close to Octoberfest and not too loud area
Was way overpriced.. 400$ a night is a bit steep for a room with 2 single beds.. a terrible layout to the bathroom with a sliding door when you have 2 people and the space is so cramp for the toilet. At that price breakfast should have been included and at least some facility outside of just a room and lobby area.

Rooms are cute...
But a little bit too minimalist. Far far too expansive for what it is!!! (Though was Oktoberfest week end)

Very skilled staff, stylist well designed hotel, great location, value for money.
-
Location, friendliness and design, in particular of the rooms.
-
The location of the hotel is perfect, only a two minute walk to the U-Bahn station and 10 minute walk into the city centre. The room was excellently designed and made the most of the available space. The room had a special window seat specially designed for working on a laptop and was very comfortable. The shower was also very modern and with good water pressure Breakfast cost extra, however was worth the money and offered a wide and varied choice of dishes.
-
Very nice rooms, with a touch of design to them, friendly and young staff, very close to the U-bahn stop.
-
Quite basic but cheerful. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Good location for Marienplatz and main trainstation.
Stayed 2 separate nights and while room for 1st night was a good size, on 2nd stay, room was quite small for family of 3. No extra facilities eg. minibar, fridge or safe though did provide hairdryer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Cocoon. Staff were very friendly and rooms were lovely, funky and practical.
